Tudor's new black bay heritage chronograph or omega speedmaster professional moonwatc

My local rolex/tudor AD just offered me a brand new black bay chronograph on bracelet for ~4300 USD which is around 10% off sticker price. I like the watch very much but was wondering if I should get it or the omega speedmaster professional moonwatch with hesalite crystal?

I know the omega is iconic and has much longer history but on the other hand is very common watch. the tudor has much more solid feel, build quality is better and looks much more modern. Tudor's movement is also better than omega's. The price is almost the same. Not sure about resale values, not that I intend to flip soon, but just in case I needed to liquidate in the future for any reason.

In general I am a rolex fan and currently own few rolexes which look similar to the tudor.

Your opinions please.

Thank you.

Sir, I believe you cannot actually make a comparison between an auto Tudor in-house Cal MT 5813 COSC specs with the Moonwatch manual winding Lemania based Cal 1861 low beat rate 21600 vph / 3 Hz , acceptable accuracy tolerance of -1/+11 seconds/day

A more direct comparison with the 41 mm Tudor Black Bay Heritage Chrono would ideally be the Speedmaster 57 Broad Arrow Hands in-house calibre 9300 Co Axial Chrono 41.5 mm COSC specs(Yes.It's a tad smaller than the regular Speedy)A pre-owned in good condition should be around the ballpark of USD 4.5K Oh! I forgot. The Speedy BA 57 is also fondly known as The George Clooney watch

Thank you for the feedback but then we are comparing a brand new watch with a pre-owned one which I feel not fair. I agree they are very much comparable on the basis of the looks and movement technology however if I would go omega direction, then the moon watch will be preferable to me.

I vote moonwatch. Aesthetically, the Tudor does nothing for me.

Speedmaster Professional.. Or something else.. The new Tudor, at least on photos, has an unbalanced mix of parts (e.g. the hands look out of place).

Moonwatch. The Tudor is too sterile.

Tudor's new black bay heritage chronograph or omega speedmaster professional moonwatc

Alternative: 43mm navitimer b01

The b01 movement is excellent which is why Rolex was comfortable using it in the Tudor.

Speedy is great too but I have a soft spot for navitimers. Bought this one like new for 4500 so it can be done for that price point

As far as the Tudor. That's a pass from me. Can't get over their insistence on using the snowflake hands everywhere. They only look good on the og snowflake and the pelagos.

It doesn't get much better than a moonwatch for me. The Tudor is a miss in my opinion.

I agree with most of the posts, Omega would be my choice too . I have a BBsteel with snowflake hands, & cannot understand why Tudor chose to use them on the Chrono . Spoilt what could have been a fantastic watch.
