In my opinion, when considering the fit on royal oaks, particularly ROO on straps, the most important measurement is the "crease to crease" instead of lug to lug. After that sharp line, the lug tapers into a bracelet/strap and should start to hug the wrist.
I agree, as the case falls away into your wrist, the lug to lug is not so important a dividing line as on a Rolex etc.

Honestly Bryant I would slide the watch down your wrist over the wrist bone and it will look better. I think wearing it that far back looks funny and does not seem like a good fit. Take another shot of it over wrist bone and let's see. Also congrats again and an amazing watch!

I think you are right Ken, though honestly not quite as comfortable.
I think it is doable with a rubber strap, though my steel and pm bracelets might be tougher.

I have a wrist-bone that is more protruded than average I think and it is a comfort vs look battle,
to keep it over the bone.

i personally view ROO as big watches - unless one has a really small wrist/forearm i wouldnt be as worried about 'traditional' rules of lugs, etc.

looks great to me

Looks exactly as an Offshore should look, they're meant to be larger than the average watch. Congrats!

Got it and makes sense. Definitely looks better and looks like it fits more over the bone. To me looked off and too big in your original posts contrary to what most here have said! Again big congrats and love it!

either way it looks good. Its not overly large matter how you wear it and its supposed to be big anyway. I would not have any second thoughts personally if that is how it fit on me.

Agreed - and I hope that once you get the XS strap on you'll find it perfect (though it would appear that there are at least 8 people here - based on the poll - who are hoping that you decide to flip it!)

Thanks for the feedback Tyler
Main thing is that I notice it is more comfy than the 44 Anthracite I had briefly last year which was uncomfortable on my wrist.
Have to say, I did kinda like even THAT size, just not the feel.

I love the Diver and think it looks good.

When the new XS straps lands try mixing the straps too...meaning keep standard size on one side and the XS size on the other. I normally keep the tang side standard and go XS on the side with the holes...

I have done it with both 44mm and 42mm sizes AP's... Kinda feel like it dials in the fit...almost like a "half link"

Congrats on a Fantastic Diver

Congratulations! Wow, so many incoming Ceramic Divers recently!

I think the size is fine. Enjoy! The grain on the CE bezel is amazing.

Thanks everyone, but decided not to keep it, just did not fit right with my awkward wrist bone.
AP ROOs sit so flat and ruggedly, they just don't feel right on my wrist.

When I think how well the RM55 fit me, I am leaning on saving for an RM 55 or 35.
Just nothing I have tried has the same comfort and feel for a sports watch.
I have resisted on spending that much but I am more and more appreciating why the RMs are so in demand.
Nothing but respect for AP ROOs though, love the design, just not the way they feel on my wrist.

12 people (according to the poll) are delighted.

Honestly, I think it looks great, but if a wearing a particular watch doesn't thrill you, there's no point to keep it IMHO
