Why does the design of the dial on the new white diver look different? Is that what they mean by stamped? Is that the same for the black dial version also? When did this happen?

I'm pretty sure that the dial changed when AP introduced the sapphire case back. Personally I prefer the stamped dial.

Yes, if you look at the dial on the 15703 under high magnification you can see the swirls caused by that machine that they use to engrave. On the 15710 its clean. I personally like the engraved version but Id rather have the sapphire case back. My take on this is that the engraving is an anti-counterfeit measure which the visible movement on the sapphire caseback made not necessary.

Took the plunge on the black diver last Saturday, paid a premium at the AP boutique where they only offered 5% discount while ADs would offer 15%.
Not particularly patient on long waiting lists at ADs, went down tot he boutique, they have the black in stock....grabbed and go.

My first AP and loving it!

I have small Asian 6" flat wrist, and the diver certainly looks big on me.
but what the heck, chronos looked smaller but they didn't appeal to me.
15400ST blue dial is also a long wait even at AP boutiques.

They have the blue / yellow diver in stock as well, was amazing when they brought it out from the display and onto my hands.
Side by side, black and blue / yellow, the look on the black lasts...simply classic, simple elegant!!!

Will share some photos shortly.

Good choice bro, coming from a fellow Singaporean who also got the black diver.

did you buy the smaller strap or you went with the standard size strap that comes with the diver.

They changed to a XS strap for me.
But they let me keep the standard size strap, of course without the buckle.
