Good to hear! Clasp is perfectly centered on the bottom of your wrist?

Can I ask how much the newer style clasp cost (assuming it is rose/white gold)?
Thanks! Yes, the clasp is perfectly centered. It is yellow gold. Buying one from the boutique would have cost $3,000 plus tax. But I bought a brand new one, with stickers, on Chrono24 for just under $2,000 (and it came with a brand new strap).

Great thanks for the info!

You can reverse the straps. IOW, switch 12:00 strap to 6:00. I'd prefer the old style over the new style deployant. The old style is more heavy duty.

Second this.

I like deployants: 1) faster to put on and take off, 2) more secure, putting on a tang it is much easier to drop the watch, and 3) the straps last longer without the continued bending.

I go both ways on this:

1. Deployants make it easier to put on / take off a watch.
2. Lange movements are meant to be enjoyed fully, without a deployant blocking the view

The Lange tang buckle is superbly engineered and I find it more comfortable than the deployant . Plus, it allows better visualization of the movement.

I find that the newer style butterfly clasp allows for a good view of the movement. That's the upside to the butterfly deployant's hollow blades.
