New member, Brit in Toronto looking for my first Rolex
A quick post to introduce myself as a new member.
My parents gave me a Longines Conquest for my 21st birthday, but I didn't really discover the world of watches until last year, in lockdown, when I found Hodinkee and just kept reading. In that time I've bought watches from two micro brands. A Halios Seaforth, the Roldorf LE, and a Baltic Aquascaphe. But now I have the Rolex itch and I'm looking for my first one. Saving for it as well. I'll be spending most of my time in the Classifieds! Looking at old Datejusts (36mm) or a 114270 Explorer, but the prices are putting the latter out of reach for now. |
