Am I protected if I accept Pay-Pay?
I am selling a new SD-43 and the buyer wants to pay with Pay-Pal.
Am I protected so that if the buyer "claims" that I sent him a rock in the box, what happens? |

No, PayPal protects the buyer much more than the seller.

Short answer. No.
If he/she claims that, then you are in for a long protracted dispute in which you will lose. |

LOTS of pay pal scams. I would not mess with it. WIRE TRANSFER is the way to go

Well, are you planning to send a rock? I ask because that's a very specific hypothetical question.

I would never sell anything you can't afford to lose using paypal. Its a scammer's paradise, they side with the buyer every time (with a few notable exceptions).
You have a very desirable and still fairly rare watch, there's no need for anything involving paypal. A buyer willing to send a wire will be along soon enough. |
