Ok - It's time

Forget market pricing. What are the prices where you will say, I will definitely buy the watch at...go! Again this is YOUR price, screw the market. This is the price where you would take money out of your bank account and pay, cash, and the watches are all new or mint preowned full box, papers.

1) 5711-1A blue - I would say $35k-$40k is where I would pick one up
2) 5711-1A White - MSRP
3) 5167A - MSRP
4) 5164A - (May take hate for this) but MSRP -10%, around $30-$33k
5) 5167R = $30k
6) 5164R = $35k
7) 5170P = $50k
8) 5711R = $55k to $60k (abit above MSRP)
9) 5740G - $90k
10) 5970G/R/J = $90k

Tiffany stamp - Add $5k (no more and no less)

For the moment, I'm only interested in a 5711 and a rolex pepsi.
5711 @ retail or below
Pepsi @ retail - 10%

Yesterday I texted 2 ADs, the US and the Europe one. They sold 3 and 4 Patek pieces respectively and both shops were closed. There’s always a real demand, so I don’t expect to see a dramatic drop in price. Slightly yes, but not significantly down compared to current grey price as of today. If the covid-19 lasts till q3, we will perhaps see a big adjustment again.

I´d have a 5167R for MSRP -15% and I could be tempted to have a 5970G at the $90k stated above.

I simply love the 5970G but given my lifestyle I simply have no clue where I´d wear it.

5711/5712 at retail, and I might try some type of Daytona too if they’re at MSRP just to see what all the fuss is about.

Not really into amassing watches I wouldn’t wear so this would probably be it.

I’d be in for a 5712/1A and 5711/1R at MSRP. I’d jump at a 5740/1G at 100.

Really depends on how the economy shakes up... if unemployment is at 40% I won’t buy any watches... got better things to buy

Edited. It was a joke. It wasn’t funny. It was insensitive. These are horrid, terrifying times.

I agree and I think one important consideration is that most of us here already have nice watches. So even though I have money ready and set aside for discretionary purchases, I'm not in any type of "need" situation with my current Aquanaut and ROC.

Now depending on how long this lasts and how this turns out, I'd probably still get a 5164 and maybe pass on a 5990 if I were to get a call. Two months ago I would have jumped at either one. I'm certainly prepared for three months of significantly reduced income, but if it gets towards six months that money would be better used elsewhere.

A few from my wishlist with a target price
- 5164: $38k
- 5167: $20k
- 5960p: $34k
- 5212 MSRP

Also keeping an eye out for a reasonable 5270g. One can hope...

Used/Gray prices are going to be hit bad, but some of these prices are wishful thinking Gents... But I suppose that's the point of this exercise right?

5231J @ MSRP
I'd be very seriously tempted for a 5970p or 5070p @ £100k GBP.

It's not going to happen though!!!

I think it will happen. You already see 5131J in the $85k range...

I am checking around for the 5164A and 5164R daily. They are nowhere near MSRP yet (you can probably get the A for $46k and the R for $56k).

Given that these two Aquanauts are relatively "unpopular" in comparison to most of the others listed, I feel they definitely have further to fall. I'm a buyer of either at MSRP, but need to be patient.

Would love a 5522 at a closer price to the original retail.

Seem to be a few hanging around, but no reductions in price

I'm not sure I follow the logic behind the 5170p at 50k, but I'd be interested in one of those.

I sort of agree with all this, and being a tiffany owner myself I have to say I don't think the hype will last... for two reasons. THERE ARE A LOT OF THEM. A lot. Secondly, I wouldn't be surprised if down the road HSWA stopped letting Tiffany stamp and we saw LVMH tiffany stamped watches instead.... which to me would ruin any appeal of double stamped Patek from Tiffany & Co.

It’s a cycle. Grey Dealers are not buying inventory or will buy at low low price (ie 15k for a 116500 white dial). Dealers don’t want to lose money and are fine making same profit so just have to wait another few weeks/month for current inventory to cycle out and the new inventory to come... since things are seemingly very slow though maybe some will be stuck with current inventory for a while

Last thing they will want is more stock unless they can move it on instantly

I saw these being sold in the mid 60s last week and I didn't bite. That's my logic.

Wow, that was fast. If they come down to 50k, that would be tremendous value, taking into account what this piece delivers.
