Please help

Thanks in advance! I'm new to Panerai and need some information. I have several Rolex but no Panerai watches. I went to a local Rolex dealer to see the new explorer but fell in love with a pre-owned Panerai radiomir GMT/alarm 238 rose gold watch. I have searched the forum but have not found any information about this watch. Several people have the Panerai 98 but nothing about the 238. Are the 98 and the 238 the same watch (movement and such) just a different casing? Is this a good Panerai watch( I'm sure they are all good but I know some can be better) to be my first Panerai? The price is $11,500 for a one owner watch, really good condition, box and papers........is that a good deal,to much? What do you all think? Thanks again for helping a newbie!
