685/687

Also in the OP boutique today were the 685 and 687. Beautifully finished pieces with some great attention to detail. I love the engraving on the bezels. They're not my bag but I prefer the 687 out of the two; I really don't know how to describe that dial but I couldn't stop staring at it. Someone's gonna be very happy with either

That dial is such a head turner! Not sure if I could live with it long-term, but the photos are great.

Your boutique is a pretty good one!

Tell you what Cru, I'm relocating back home in April next year. If I, ahem, get the urge for another PAM after buying my final one later this year, I'll come back to Singapore to buy from this boutique. They relax are awesome

It's a real stunner. Like Cru, I'm not sure I could live with it full time but I could have it as part of a collection. Over in the corner of the boutique, they have a book open in the case with the pages open on an old Rad that I presume this one is based on. I didn't get around to asking the question because I was too busy drooling over the 533

Well, that, I'm afraid, is some Panerai "myth making"....

It is a very cool looking watch. I have a favorite but I'm not saying. I hope they cool off as I'd like to get one.

Not necessarily, it might just be coincidence. I'll take a photo of the book next time I'm in there, so you'll see what I mean

It's an OP boutique, which might explain it. I get the feeling they might have some sway with OP in general with some of the exotica I've seen in there. I'm fully expecting to see a PAM 700 before too much longer
