Rolex 5513

Hello there, please excuse my ignorance if my terminology is wrong !!

I have a Submariner ( no date ) model 5513 ... I looked up the serial number and it seems to be a circa 61. The bezel on the top turns both ways for some reason, i literally have not worn that watch in 20 years and cant remember if it ever did?? What would it take to repair it in someones opinion ? Is it worth it at all ?

I just wanted to get a idea before I took it in for servicing.

Thanks in advance for any help

It does turn both ways. I have a Sub 1680 circa 1969 and it does that as well.

That's a great vintage Submariner and well worth keeping. I would want to get some expert op ions thought about servicing it. Check out the vintage section in TRF.
