Dang, was hoping for a max of 12mm. Those are pretty thick.

Great looking watches and maybe the best of Basel.
But why, why, why do you throw fake patina and a "tropical" dial on this??

I'd prefer a straight-up black dial, but who cares, it's still the best of Basel 2017! Ordered my Speedy already. |

These watches are pretty thin ... Have you had a speedy on your wrist? All of these are either very close to that of thinner. I personally don't mind the patina coloring and I collect Rolex vintage too... It's just a color... Shouldn't think it's patina. Makes the watch look warm and fits the 57 theme.

I have an aqua terra which is 13mm++ and it's borderline. My royal oak is only 8mm and I love it. My wrist is under 7" so even moderately big watches feel big Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I know what you mean, I haave a 8500 AT also and I consider that more or less borderline on thickness acceptance. But these pieces are right there and with the collection I have on Omega, I have a good idea they will wear very nicely IMO....but then I don't have anything remotely thin as 8mm. Quote:
Yeah the trilogy text killed the box set for me on all 3. I ordered all 3 separately instead with the same number requests/preferences to try to make a matching trilogy set of my own. We'll see how that goes. To me these are must buys....and I don't even love the Railmaster in the past until I saw how well executed the watch is when they unveiled everything. It helps that Rolex has nothing of immediate interest for me this year. |

I am definitely buying the Speedy. I am tempted by the Seamaster, but not sure if I need it.

A video reviewer called them all thin. If the Seamaster is 14.mm, at least 1mm is the height of the domed crystal. That's about the same as a speedy pro. I can live with that.

Already guaranteed a Speedmaster. I don't have an interest in the other two.

I would LOVE these if not for the fake patina. As it is, I am really not happy with them at all. Beautiful for sure...but damn...fake patina. I just can't get on board.

Well.....there is the matter of some differences like the case and bracelet........but that is an option. I personally don't see a problem with the coloring....people get tripped up about "faux patina" but I think it gives these pieces character and adds warmth. This is coming from someone that collects vintage Rolex as well so I'm well versed in individuality/earned lume via life of watch....it's just apples and oranges here. It looks much better with the coloring scheme they gave it instead of just whitening out everything with superluminoova.

Agree. There are minor diferences between them. TBH I can say got used to the 'fake patina' and it doesn't bother me anymore.

I generally don't mind faux lume but I think it kinda overpowers the RM dial against the plain steel bezel.

The speedy interests me since I liked last years (?) 57 model but it was way way to big for me. I'd probably still find this too thick though. Shame its limited edition, no reason not to make a smaller version like this as a standard piece.
But yes, I like Omega offerings this year. Its annoying the more interesting aqua terras are always only in the large size, but whats a small guy to do. |

I am glad to see other members who have the chance to order the Trilogy Set. I am excited and will be making adjustments to my collection to make this happen. Had been looking for a Snoopy. After looking at it's dial, I see no problem with the Trilogy number on the dial. I'm sure Omega wanted to make it hard for someone to misrepresent a complete set. Good Luck.
