First Trip Abroad: Rolexes and Cigars...

I'm 52yo and it's taken me this long to visit Europe. My wife and I will be visiting Italy (Florence, Venice and Rome), with a layover in Amsterdam. Just wondering if the Italy ADs (or AMS store if there is one) have anything in stock that they would consider selling to a non-citizen. I'm also curious if anyone knows how the Italians take to cigar smokers....

Considering there probably isn't much inventory to sell, I'm wondering if my questions are in the wrong order of importance...MTIA...

I’d enjoy the trip and don’t even think about watches.

This may be your first trip abroad, but I doubt it will be your last.

Forget timepieces, not happening.... and wear a G Shock or something sensible... and yes enjoy cigars... but it's not as it was back in 1990s when you could smoke inside the hotels, etc.

Seeing that it’s your first trip overseas I’d really enjoy that. Everything else including watches are secondary.
Florence is a fabulous city and Rome is my wife’s favourite place in the world you’ll love it

Be careful with pick pockets. They get u at the subways, bus terminals.

I remember what a local told me...don't talk to anyone. They want ur money. Just keep moving. Safes in hotel room isn't safe.

Have a great time. Don't waste ur time with watches. Bring home a wheel of Parmesan cheese. Great investment too

Find a nice cafe on a piazza and enjoy the cigar with a nice vin santo. Repeat 2x a day.

Oh, forget the ADs.
