The Phillips is a great little electric shaver. Can highly recommend it.

I used to use both a double edge safety razor and straight razor, but the time for prep & maintenance required to do so means it’s now oiled and away for very occasional use.

Meh.

It’s a pretty handle but those razors can’t be flipped or turned around. So a standard de is an even better environmental proposition as it’s at min 2 blades in one, or 8 shaves! and you can buy 100 for $20 reg Feather blades on amazon.

They better watch their marketing because it’s full of holes.

But P&G will buy them in 5 anyway.

For years I was using Braun 7 series.
Recently changed to DE Merkur Progress razor and now I see how much closer the shave without skin irritations. No more electric shavers.

Braun Series 9. There are many blessings to not having a heavy beard. In fact at 58 I 'm pretty sure I couldn't even grow a beard if I tried. Heck I've never even tried growing a mustache.

Have fun with those heavy beards.
