Wow, that's very interesting. Kind of a subtle and classy use of brilliants. It's not for me, but looks great on you.

Right now I'd say the two I own but, as we all know, that can always change for us with "the itch." I'd consider a PM Sub or GMT II, but that's likely the extent of it. I really don't like PCL's so that's what's been holding me back on a WG or YG in those two and Daytonas are just too small on my wrists. There's really nothing else that interests me.

That Daytona looks fantastic, my only worry is, does it still wear small like the 116520?

And I guess looking back at my post I did ask two questions. Only when people started saying day date did I think of it and actually agree. My first knowledge of Rolex was my dad’s YG daydate, my uncle still lusts after one and for none watch lovers a DD or DJ is what they think of. I’ve had neither nor want those models.

If I could have only one, it would be the WG BLRO. GMTs are my favorite. However, for the rest of the non-WIS world, the Datejust or 5513 sub is probably the most iconic watch, IMO. I prefer the size, heft and function of the 116719. Cheers!

Platona. Not likely to be able to justify dropping that much on one anytime soon though.

116622 blue sunburst dial, every day watch. Still waiting to try the new GMT. Could be an ultimate Rolie as well.

All gold Sub, black face and dial. It's perfect in every way. Don't own one, but if I could only have one, that would be it.

The black sub date was always mine. Got it a month and a half ago. Now I want a blue seadweller. Fml.

Patek was always on the bucket list, right after winning the lottery.

This (not my pic). Also the DD40 in RG with olive dial is a close second.

I love my one and only green OP, but to me the ultimate is the platona with diamond dial.
I don't know if I'll ever be able to repair enough rolexes to afford one, but one can dream.
