Actually, thanks to Lee (User name Uppersouth, fellow KY member) for a quick heads up this morning. He sent me a PM that he had been offered a watch from the AD that he had declined. But, in a very classy move, he suggested my name as a possible recipient. So, a call was made, some arrangements were discussed, and voila...a new watch should be coming home with me tomorrow.

I'm not actually going to name the watch, not b/c I'm a tease, but superstitious, rather. I don't want to jinx the deal. (Notice I said 'potential' incoming?) So...a full reveal tomorrow, I promise, if all goes well.

Yes, that's exactly what it's like for me as well! Great feeling for sure. I aways wake up and my first thought is "happy new watch day"! It's great to feel like a kid again!

Then again, as I get older, I've come to appreciate the "hunt" as much as the ownership.
