Franken 16800 on EBay...8.9 serial number with "Original matte dial"

The watch was originally listed as a 8.9mm serial number 16800. Then, the seller, after I called him out on the matte dial on a 8.9 serial number watch on 11/18, went and edited the auction description to simply list the serial number at "8mm" on Nov 19th.

Be cautious... This seller is located in Buffalo NY with the phone number of 716-948-5110

After a further email exchange, the seller has removed the listing...

I think the watch was fine and probably sold off the Bay thanks to this advertising.
At the end of the day, it has a valuable dial. I think the asking price was ridiculous but who knows what it sold for...

Here is some reading material.

Meh. The dial has some spotting/water damage which is probably why it was removed from the original watch to begin with. Also, the pearl has a yellow gold surround and the endlinks are from a two-tone bracelet (the center gold plating was obviously removed).
