Pictures of my 1601, first Rolex !!!

Hey guys, I had already posted these in the vintage watch thread, but I figure this is probably a better place. This is my first Rolex and I am in love! Serial number dates it as late 1970's.

One of my favorites! Stunning in its simplicity. The 1601 just screams "classic Rolex"

Just wanted to post a few updated pics. I swapped the bezel to a newer (white gold) that’s a tad more pronounced. I think it looks really good. Also purchased a new, sapphire crystal. Did not like the older, raised plexiglass. Basically wanted to give the watch a bit more of a modern feel. What do you guys think of the change?

The original one is better and your watch is so really cool in white datejust that is not so much people have it.
