across the board as in all models..... in the UK. AFAIK across the board and across the world are not the same thing. UK is the only one with solid info currently.

Please please increase prices on all ss. That will reduce the willingness of grey market to capture the market, they will be worried about less margin on a sale or less demand at same margin, for the same risk of holding inventory.
Raising the price by 1k will likely create some availability at AD for anything which currently has a 2 to 4k markup at Grey dealers.

So, as we were saying, all information indicates this is a regional adjustment in the UK only. Nobody is disputing that, since the info is solid, but it is different from a worldwide increase.

Yes I concur. Sorry, I didn’t mean to imply otherwise.

Still, sucks to be in the UK.

Understood. Although I still maintain this thread deserved to die an ignominious death. There is a recent, dedicated UK increase thread.

I think that’s probably because it’s just been discontinued?

Only a matter of time for Australia unfortunately. $11450 aud for a lv sub as an example, minus 9.1% for travelers makes us a cheaper market too

Duncan, I say this with peace and love, but you're dredging up the worst of the old rumors. You're new here, so I would advise you to spend some time looking things up before reporting on developments, because at this point you're spreading misinformation. There was a massive rumor during Basel this year that the BLNR had been discontinued. It caused a lot of heated discussion and one of the more ridiculous threads on this forum in recent times (in which yours truly was an active participant). There was no definitive answer, other than to wait and see. We've waited. It hasn't yet been discontinued. I'm not sure where you're hearing this now, but given that your statement ends with a question mark, I'm guessing you're sourcing isn't solid.

I know you mean well, but your newbie-itis is showing.

Fair point, no args! It was a question because I wasn’t sure. I read here a week or two ago that the BLNR was dropped from the catalog and when someone enquired they were told it was because it was no more.

I only ask in the hope of increasing my knowledge. I also have a vested interest as I picked one up today

So, is the BLNR possibly dropped, definitely not or just unknown atm?

As of this time, not to the best of anyone's knowledge.

It’s definitely not solid and I didn’t realise it was a controversial topic. My sincere apologies!

UAE prices were increased at the beginning of 2018. Mostly through the introduction of 5% VAT but I’m sure they went up by more than 5%.

UK is still cheaper than here to buy a sub (currently £6,910 for a black sub date).

Tere have been no price increase in Belgium since february 2016
Recommended prices 2018-2019 Vat Included here in Belgium

Some examples before and after the increase spring 2018. Suddenly changes on the official Rolex.com website.

11650 LN: 11350 -> 11400
116503 : 15500 -> 15600
126600 : 10400 <-> 10450
114060 : 6850 ->6900
116610 LN : 7800 -> 7850
116610 LV : 8300 -> 8350
116613 LN : 12350 ->12450
116618 LN : 31300 -> 31600
116613 LB : 123540 -> 12450
116618 LB : 31300 -> 31600
116619 LB : 33800 -> 34100
These are the ones I personally corrected on my Price list specimen
So here I noticed a difference between 50and 300€ equivalent to price level.

The actual possibility of increase seems pure speculation.

The 1st serie of prices you noticed have never been actual in Belgium. That's the prices for France.

Where you in France when you noticed them ? at least your internet connection was coming from France ...

I don’t think the small 5% increase in the UK will make any difference here. Business as usual for the grey dealers with waiting lists at the AD’s dependent on the watch model and VIP’s having first dibs at everything. Especially if they are not flippers.

Rolex are very happy with this situation and won’t do anything to rock the boat.

.

The prices you can see are actual in the country from which you connect to the internet , whatever the langage you choose ...

Belgium have a 21% Vat , France is 20% . That's the price difference you noticed.
