Fedex will not ship without a customer number and says they only do $1000. worth of insurance and overall cost will be similar to USPS. What am I missing? Are there any good bracelet restorationists in the US? Btw, MY now charges $250 for Jubilee band tightening. Still a great deal and would love to send to him, but would like to ship cheaper if possible?
Thanks in advance for any info re the above!

I just got my Red Sub 1680 bracelet back from Michael Young. I asked that the bracelet not be polished thats why it still has scratches. It is super tight now and it feels very strong.

Now things seem easier because the tools have been sold publicly

This guy is good, your band looks awesome. I am following his instagram and loving it. Its good to know there is someone that can perform a repair of that level on something that means alot to someone. If you HAD to have something repaired that you wouldn't typically repair, he is the one it seems.

Heh, down at the hardware store they'll let me rent machines with which I could inadvertently destroy my house (living in Toronto I've seen people do this during renovations, housing market's a little unsettled here right now).

For some things, even if I can get the tools myself, I still prefer to pay the experts for the work! But thanks for the link, some of our more adventurous brethren are sure to give it a try themselves.
