Honest 1962 gilt 5512 with two colour font

Honest gilt with correct long five and it’s original 1962 7206.

Service Insert as found looking at the case back it has been to Rolex London a few times in its life.

Honest case with a young friend

Pity the dial has drag and newer hands but it was from its original owner and came with its original band.

Wasn't planning on this at all...but once I tried it that was it...bought at Meertz World of Time in Munich. Perfect rail dial 78 SD, with what appears to me, everything rather untouched but well worn haha. LOVE it.

Ha! I've always preferred blended scotch...on the rocks. Never could convince myself that I actually truly enjoyed smokey, peaty single malts. And, yes, I've tried! At the end of the day, it's booze. We like what we like.

Me neither! The smokey stuff actually gives me heartburn. I do not like the peaty stuff at all.

I prefer the single malts finished in port or cherry casks to give it more of a sweet finish rather than burning/smoky.

Balvenie 21 portwood is excellent. I really like Glenlivet 21 and Macallan 18 too.

It really gets me as well when the sun hits the dial like this.
