Patek Philippe 5230G - 012

Any one getting the new 5230G-012 released to celebrate Boodles 220th anniversary? Limited to 50 pieces and has Liverpool on the dial with Boodles corporate colour.

It is a nice watch but I prefer the 5130P-029 H&I Edinburgh

5130P-014 and think it had black dial...but then there are so many they tend to blur...every major city and minor seems to have one!!

I was offered one and at that time they had not set the price for the watch. I was told it would be around £40000 with WG cuff links.

They also made 5130J Hettich Jersey Special with St Helier replacing London and 5130P-029 Hamilton and Inches Edinburgh

The normal 5130P was £40400. Tuff call

Time will do justice to all the 5230s. It is a beautiful watch that has been somewhat badly received by the watch community. I believe that after a P model is launched, that will ended up attracting more attention also to the G and R models too. Great Boodles model as well.

I agree the 5230 has not been a popular model. However, a LE model commemorating a major Patek AD should garner some interest from Boodles customers.
