"Ft" on Sub and SD service dials??
Is the long "F" on either Sub or Sea "ft" for 1665 or 1680 service dials?

As far as I know, the 1665 had two basic dials, short "f" like the DRSD (mk 1)and the long "F" (mk 2) which appeared on the later white 1665's from about 5mil on if I'm not mistaken...........I would imagine that if a dial was replaced, it was propbably replaced with a long "F".......If the dial has just the word "SWISS" under the 6 hour marker, then it is a Luminova Replacement Dial.....NOT Tritium.
The Rail Dial was from about 5.7 mil to 6 mil (More or less) and had the Long "F"..... Hope that helps... |
