"Ford" Engraved Date Just

Hey everyone

I came across this watch the other day, just wanted to see if anyone has seen
one before.

Im new to collecting and the forum, this may not be a vintage piece either.

Hope to get some info on it either way.

Thank you

Nice looking 1601. It was probably a sale contest prize back in the day. Someone had to move a bunch of 72 Fords to earn that. :) I wouldn't question whether real of not, without provenance it adds little or nothing to value.

That's vintage Rolex, a nice old watch with a tale to tell. :)

Thanks for the info RC. Since I couldn't see the serial I was unsure what year it was.

So unless it has a story no more value than the next 72 datejust?

Would be interesting to talk with the owner and see what the story is. Hopefully I can get a hold of him.

I do like the Ford blue dial :)

To most, but as a car guy, I would find it interesting to own.

Have to check the sr# for the year, I just pulled that out of the ether. :) Even with the story it isn't going to make that much difference, not like it was a real Tiffany. It's just a nice looking watch with a little twist.

If you get serious have them pull the caseback and check for corrosion.

EDIT: As Don says, Ford guys would love it! :)
