New Magnum PI series- will he wear the new BLRO?

Tom Selleck wore the Pepsi in the old magnum series and there is a new one coming on CBS this Fall. I have seen previews and they have a red Ferrari 308 so I'm wondering if the new Magnum PI will be wearing an old Pepsi or a new one??? It was a fun show, hope it's going to be as good and looking forward to seeing if and which Rolex he wears! I love that the new SS Pepsi has the retro but improved style, weight and movement.

The new Magnum PI wouldn't wear a jubilee bracelet, would he?

I saw a preview for the show at the movies last week. It looked like he was wearing a Rolex, but I couldn't tell which reference.

I'd be surprised if they were that meticulous, but I'd be impressed.

I would think it will be a Rolex on an Oyster bracelet. But we shall see.

Much of the filming took place before Basel, right?

There are several threads to the topic, in the trailer a 5 digit (probably 16710) GMT has been identified

Show producer Peter Lenkov has loaned his vintage Pepsi for use in the show.

No one cares about this show, so no, it won't increase in value x10.

If the original watch from Tom Selleck would go on the market it would fetch a decent amount but nothing crazy (near or over 100k).

Interesting. When I saw the promo ad on TV yesterday, I could have sworn the guy was wearing a Sub.

New Magnum PI series- will he wear the new BLRO?

Well since the new show is featuring a 308 the 5 digit would be more fitting. If he were driving a 488 Spider then the 126710 would rock.

It's hard to turn back time.

Seems unlikely, since they would have filmed some of it before the watch was announced.

If it reaches a second season, would be a nice touch, though.

They’ll probably get “the call” for a BLRO a few years after the show is cancelled!

There's both a 458 Spider and a 308 GTS in the trailer. They both get destroyed so no telling what he will end up with.

Looks like a later model 16710 w Salmon colored bezel, almost identical to mine with lug holes too.

Oh boy. How much does this show *not* need to be remade?
