Was looking at Rolex's in Vegas this weekend

I just wanted to see what the inventories looked like, and as I thought, nadda on SS sport watches.
The Wynn AD just a Smurf Sub and Tourneau in The Forum Shops had one as well. No other Stainless steel sport watches to be had.
I made a comment to the lady at Tourneau," I wish Rolex made a gold Sea-Dweller and I would probably buy it because I like the bigger watch"
She then proceeded to ask the other clerks out loud if the Sea-dweller came in gold. I was first embarrassed for her, then for myself, as they looked at me as if I asked THAT question. It was a funny awkward moment, but I smiled and moved on.

At least you were at the right place to ask that question, although you really didn't.

Oh man this is too funny!!! I’ve had nothing but laughs at the LV Tourneau and the things out of their mouths. This is the best though!

On the other hand, the Tourneau in SF has impressed me significantly and they know their stuff well, so much I’ve done business with them a few times. Vegas is fun to browse, but I’ve met nothing but idiots in the ADs there.

Tourneau... Even when you clearly exhibit that you something about watches, they proceed to talk to you as though you don't anyway. Meanwhile, most of their sales reps have very basic knowledge--and even saying that is a stretch!

Wynn's inventory is pretty much unrivaled so their shortage speaks volumes about the current state of supply.

I love the Wynn Rolex store. That inventory surprises me. Too bad.

Hey I was just staying at the Encore penthouse suites but they gave us the smoking rooms. Worst service I've had in vegas. Got back to reality and stayed where I usually stayed at the MGM mansion villas. Although, I did check out the Wynn Rolex AD as well. They are bone dry!

I’ve always loved Wynn Rolex but sadly even they suffer from the shortages.

I do think though if I was a serious high roller staying at the Wynn and told my host I wanted a steel Daytona, one would magically appear.

I was in Vegas last week and only Wynn and Bellagio AD had 6-8 Daytonas in their inventory. And the Bellagio had one pepsi white gold for $38k....no ss professionals at all there or any other ADs in vegas.
