a single grey dealer didn't get all those watches from an AD selling them directly to them. That is individuals flipping watches to dealers. So its the AD customers like us who are to blame, not the secondary dealer.

It is a reality. I choose not to patronize grey dealers and while I’m less than one grain of sand in the scheme of things, I feel good patronizing my AD. Works for me.

They should if they have so many!

The website says no white Daytona’s in stock.

This is the same dealer who posted a (badly) photoshopped pic of several fake white ceramic Daytona’s.

It’s 100% B/S instagram posturing. Those pictures are photoshopped. As of now they have no BLNRs or LVCs in stock either.

Not somewhere I would be buying a watch from, that’s for sure.

The reason this is happening is Rolex's own fault.
By restricting supply, it gives the oportunity to these 'resourceful' dealers to make huge profits.
Do you think if Rolex was sending 20 BLNRs to each AD monthly (basically flooding the market) the grey dealers would be able to sell them at twice the RRP? No, and they will only have 1 or 2 in stock, not 10 like the picture.

Bottom line is resellers are the reason anyone has the option to get basically anything they want immediately, shipped to their door and most of the time under retail less tax. No BS and no need for years of proving loyalty to any specific AD. Bottom line is you want something, so seek the most efficient way to obtain it. If you're dealing with the circus of the AD world you are most likely seeking a relationship, safety, a feeling of loyalty, comfort and privilege, and for this you pay dearly with you time and money. They are both a choice and thankfully that choice is there.
