I suggested that a long time ago, since we have always had a lot of folks who live in Florida (and nearby), even the original founder of this board. Sadly however, something always prevented that from happening. Perhaps this is the year!!!

Just say when and where. It would be better for me after the end of June (I will be retired then), but I would love it!

There is a large get together in Tampa every year usually in November. Milos, who also organizes the NY get together puts it on

Here was the announcement from last year

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=54642

And of course - anytime Astcell (Robert) comes into Tampa, we get together for a beer!

Orlando would be great - there's always Milennia Mall!

We could hit the Cheesecake Factory and some ADs.

Sweet, just made my commute a little easier! Oh Jen, Mall Millenia is all about Brio...But there would be 2 AD's there, and an IWC AD in another store!

Alas, if only I could, Stan. I don't have the days to spare for vacation/sick leave right now, due to my taking the entire month of July off just before my retirement.

Man, that would be great, though! But...still wanting to do this Fla. thing later.

You guys have a great time in KY, and don't forget lots of pics!!!

Jen, see my post to Stan above regarding this. If I only could swing the KY thing, I would. But...there is this thing in FL we are working on. THAT is looking good, if it happens after July...

Orlando would INDEED be great. I vote for that, but if at all possible after July...

The wife and kids spend summers in Fort Walton Beach. Guess I could leave the doublewide and meet up somewhere. Got to find my too tight muffin busting jean shorts though.

Depends on the date, but Orlando works. My parents live in Orlando, so I would be able to see them and meet some TRF members.

maybe July 11?

July is so far away!

My only concern is that hotels will be twice as costly over summer vacation (for the TRFers who want to stay over)

I'm IN! My 2 cents: Miami is easier for those if us flying in internationally.

What I can do it spend a few weeks in Fort Walton and drive over. Used to spend summers on Anna Maria Island many moons ago. Been a while since I have been to that part of Florida.

They wear jorts in Gainsville? I thought there was a law against wearing those. I would be up to flying to FLA if you guys come up with a place. I have family all over that state.
