I like the Omega pouch better. It looks as though it offers more protection.

The green one is for carrying credit cards and the red one is for eyeglasses? What's your point?

I think they are both for watches. Don't you see a watch in that OMEGA pouch?

The Onega pouch is kinda nice, I suppose (even though I've got a $5 sunny case almost exactly like it), but the sponge inside is tacky.

How can you tell just by looking at that picture that the sponge is tacky, James? Omega quality control is pretty good, I assure you and some of their complimentaries are far better than other Swiss manufacturers.

I've got to agree with you about the quality control, JJ. I've had an Omega for a few years now. It's the most reliable, durable and dependable watch I've ever owned. It's accurate as can be and takes a real beating.
Poor things become nearly expendable since the GMT arrived, but I would never part with it.
All that aside, I didn't get a snazzy red pouch with mine!

(for the price, they could have used a nice cloth padding rather than the sponge, though)

Of course I see a watch in the Omega box. I've got plenty of eyeglass cases that look just like the Omega box and I can put watches in them - but I don't.

I'm like Peter (Manatee). He carries his collection loose in a bag or in his pocket. Who needs a bulky box?

JJ, it's not that I doubt Omega's quality control, but in the photo you can clearly see that sponge being divided into four pieces, making the job look home-made from generic parts. If the sponge had been two-pieces, or even better a one-piece job with a slot cut into it to fit the bracelet, it would have looked a lot better.

P/S great pic, Frans!
