Right up there with the biggest upsets in history...

...I did get another Rolex, and a Pepsi at that. Boy how we do things we don't think we will. Not sure how long it will stick around, but I forgot how comfy the GMT and EXP II watches are, they really are second only to the YM on the wrist.

It is a Y that cames with everything (including the hologram, LOL!!) and I traded the UN and got it and some cash. I will post better pics when I get a chance.

Glad to be back!!

Nice looking watch.
Do you wear your watches "snug"? It looks a little tight for my liking.

Funny you say that, that pic was right out of the box. I have sinced moved it one spot on the clasp adjust and it is perfect. I need to lose weight because I used to take a link out, now I have to go up on the adjust.

Randy, I was in Hilo, all it does there is rain. There is tons of shine left in the Aloha state pal. As for the watches, it is all trading around for me. Only the YM and 88 seem to have any staying power.

Hey Dennis, I do love the Pams, but I like watches that can take a pounding and still do the job. I wore this baby in the ocean, shower and even while eating huge meals. I will always have a soft spot for both Rolex and Panerai in my collection.

I hadn't really looked at the Pan line too much before coming to this forum.
Now I'm starting to like some of them.
I don't think I have a dealer in my area, so the only ones I've seen are on the net or in magazines. ( the ones in mags, that showed the price, were over $23,000 , a bit out of my price range, cough, cough)
What model is the one in your Avatar?

The one in the pic is an 88 on an OEM croc, my favorite combo. I have found a real liking for GMT and other functions lately.

LOL! He actually was one of only a few that knew about this before it arrived. I just have a soft spot for the fourth hand on the dial I guess. The bezel issue will be resolved eventually.

Ok I am not a fan of Pepsi, even though its the original. It got a little annoying in meetings and what not wear ppl were starring at my wrist instead of listening to my plans for making millions It looks nice but a little to flashy for day to day wear, I may save pepsi for vacations.

The red black was the one my watch came with and I loved it, ppl rarely noticed it and it had just enough colour. BTW ppl, dont call this one black and wine, the red is actually the same shade as the one on the pepsi.

Now the black has only been on for a week and I am loving the stealthy look, one of my WIS friends thought I had bought a Sub date. I really love it so far (dont tell Ed though, his head might swell to JJ proportions)

Cool, thanks. I did not think I would like the Pepsi, it is the only combination I never really wore on my 1675. But I really am a fan now. I have and will always like the black, so that is why the hunt is on!

JOhn, there is a single Panerai dealer in Vancouver. I can't remember the name off the top of my head, but there used to be a Vancouverite who moderated the WUS panny forum... Lia... she may still be there. If not, try www.panereh.com (the canadian panerai site). They can point you in the right direction.

Daren, great to see you back. Good trip? Great watch!!! How come JJ visited you and didn't make a post about it?

Again, welcome back, D. And, of course, congratulations again on your great acquisition. I would say that's a keeper (especially after you swap out the Pepsi for the black bezel - which I know you will do, it's only a matter of time ), but I've learned that nothing is a keeper with you. But unlike our bald friend, at least you don't make any protestations about that.

Anyway, enjoy the GMT while you have it. I'd love to think that will be for a long time, but I know you better than that.
