Removing the bezel of a datejust

Hello all. Everybody on here talks about removing the bezel of their sub or GMT to replace inserts but i am curious about my datejust. I want to polish the lugs and am curious if the bezel comes off just as easily on these as it does on the other watches. If so what is the procedure?

Same procedure, but it is a bit more fragile. the thinner structure makes it prone to bending if you do not take your time and go around the complete circumference carefully..

Let me see if I can find Jockes great tutorial on his badly maligned early DJ...

Yes, here we go:

That is almost exactly like mine. Does the bezel hold the crystal in? I dont want to take the bezel off only to have a bunch of things flying at me that i wont be able to reassemble.

If you have a plastic crystal the bezel hold it, so if you pull the bezel off just make sure it
still is water safe.

If your watch have sapphire crystal, there will be no problems to pull the bezel off.

No parts will flying around.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional

Thanks for the help guys. I am taking the TZ online watch course so i am getting a grasp on all of these things, and with the knowledge the members here have i think i should be in good shape. I thought i saw that somebody on here could repair the stretch in the jubilee band but my searches have come up with nothing so if anybody may know who that is that would be great.
