My first Rolex in 2020 - Air-King 116900

Since I own the z-blue Migauss, I never considered the Air-King. As I have always been drawn to unusual watches or "less loved" ones, Air-King came up in my research. So, had it delivered on Jan. 2nd, 2020.

Couple of pictures or it never happened.

Looks great! Busy dial but to me it’s one of the most readable at a glance.

Nice watch. Enjoy! Did you get it from an AD. If so did they have it in stock or did you order before the price increase and it just arrived.

I bought it from a TS here on Dec. 31st at 2019 price. Paid, what I would have to my AD prior to the price increase.

Congratulations! Love the font of "Air-King" and the use of the green and yellow.

Thank you all. I would say, this one is different and I like it. Easy to read, however I wish The 3,6,9 were lumed.

I have 8 Rolexes (with #9, a Skydweller due here on Tuesday), including the new Air King model. While I wear all of them from time to time, the Air King is my ‘go to’ everyday wear watch. I love its simplicity and size. I think Rolex did a great job when they redesigned it....I do not care much for the vintage Air King, but this one is really cool IMO.

You’ll love it, wear it in good health!

A beautiful reference from Rolex. When I first learned about this model name and googled it I was expecting to see a GMT hand since it’s name hint to pilots or aviation.
Love the dial design language. Very modern.
Congratulations.

I hope Rolex continues with this model - same dial, skip the faraday cage to deduce the case depth and 72 hour power reserve. It will be an awesome watch. Leave the faraday cage to the Milgauss line.
