T Swiss T Dial on a K Serial Sub?

This doesn't look right to me. What do you think?

Wouldn't genuine say Swiss-T<25.
Looks like a junker. Poor endlinks, sloppy bezel edges. reported

Supposedly the use of Tritium Dials ended in 1998. K serial is later 2000 or 2001, my P serial GMT II (Earlier 2000) says Swiss Made. I was wondering if either the Dial is Fake, the Watch is Fake or we have a Frankenwatch?

K serials (late 2001/2002) are well within the luminova era. The tritium dial was added by someone at a later time in my opinion.

I contacted the seller, but he stated:

This is a 1990's model...not a K serial. Additionally....a K serial will have a Swiss Made dial (not a tritium dial) and SEL band with gold through clasp. As per the images and description, this does not have that dial or band. It has the proper band and dial for being a 1990's model. You may have this watch confused with another as we do not state this is a K serial or post 2000's model.

LOL!! I think you contacted Becker Time by accident about a completely different watch. Rather than show the now-ended item being discussed, ebay redirects you to a listing for a similar active item.

Anyway, the K-serial watch is authentic but the dial is either refinished or flat out aftermarket. Not service dial and not genuine. Perhaps a prior owner wanted blue instead of black and did the conversion haphazardly. Besides the dial issue, the case is very soft/overpolished. I can't believe this watch sold for $7K! The market has gone truly insane.

You are looking at the Beckertime offering eBay shows you because the listing we are talking about has ended.

Where it says "The listing you’re looking for is no longer available" at the top of the page, click the word "listing" and it will display the listing being discussed here.
