NYC...lots of pics

Just thought I'd post up a few (too many!) photos of my last holiday.
It was more of a work trip to New York last November, and boy did I have a great time. 1/2 day of business and 8 days to myself! I really did fall in love with the city and the people, man what a great place! Also bought my speedmaster from a great shop in the financial district. Service was great, even negotiated with them from australia before i arrived. must go back as soon as I can.

Oh yeah...there's a lot of photos here, but hey, enjoy!

Phew...i think that about does it.
I was also amazed by the number of rolex dealers there. Really friendly, not pushy at all men with suitcases full of 'em! Seriously tho.... the fakes are just wrong. I'd feel better strapping a crushed-up tin can to my wrist....probably would make me bleed less too.

Very nice. I grew up (?) in NJ and spend many a SaTURDay wandering around NYC as a kid. I still remember the city and how to get around.

Great pics, Otis. NYC is truly a world class city. I grew up just outside the City and spent most weekends in Manhatten walking, researching in the library and hitting the Village Jazz clubs. My son lives there so we have excuses to visit there 4-5 times a year.

If you knew just how many people we DON'T call when we come, it would fill a phone book. One of these days I may surprise you, though. What's your route? Does it go anywhere near 75th and Lex or 61st and Park? My son lives at 75th and we usually stay at the Regency on Park.
