How are people not reading between the lines to see all of the human evil involved? Yuck.

Someone said it's like rubber-necking a car wreck. No, it's like parking your car next to it and staring, for hours...and enjoying it.

Were you born yesterday? That stuff is what sells.

I was born so many yesterdays ago that I remember when it would have been labeled as reality TV rather than as a documentary.

But your larger point stands...what did I expect?

The show is just basic reality TV - more of the same for so many people who like that kind of thing.

Wait till episode 5. That's the big one. I swear this show is the perfect example of the phrase "you can't make this sh*t up"

Half watched one episode, looked on wiki...now not interested in it. Just a sad tale all round. The Doc guy reminds me of the Yoga guy and Joe Exotic is just a mess

I think some of the train wreck shows are sort of the Jerry Springer syndrome, where we love to see other people's misery and stupidity to make ourselves feel better.

Sort of why blood sports like bull fighting etc are popular in societies that are rather downtrodden.

Perhaps seeing other people messes makes us feel better about OUR lot in life.

My wife watches all those real life murder your husband/wife by morons who always get caught, true life stuff. She says it just to learn how to get rid of me if she gets sick of me, and treats as a how to/not to, do the deed. Basically educational TV.

well, file this under "you can't make this s**t up" - Kim Kardashian has come out calling the Tiger King show a freak show.

Wow.

Trying to wrap my head around that.

Nope.

I tried. My head exploded.

It's like googling, google. We're heading into matter/anti-matter stuff.

Never even heard of this before reading through this thread, but now that I know a little about it, pretty sure I'll be steering clear.

I watched this show because of the hype around it. A lot of wine also made it tolerable. I'm more interested in finding out what happened to Carol's husband.

well, for those who didn't get enough of TIger King - Joe Exotic, Netflix is filming one more episode (i kid not).

From what i gather, they've hired Jerry Springer reject participants
