A Letter To Padi,

Peter,

Tonight was one of those "blah" nights. Dylan is fighting off a cold, Andie is fighting "morning" sickness all day long, Bogey the dog is just a flat pain in da butt and I am bored.

Well right before I decided to go to bed I figured I would check out the Jokes board and I have to say thanks Peter, you made my night!! I laughed repeatedly out loud and my mood was 100% better. You personally have fought some serious health battles and yet you always make the people on this board feel welcome and make this place enjoyable. Myself and the rest of the members here at TRF thank you!!

The only real problem as I found out is that now that I am done reading only a few of your jokes, by the time I post this and wipe away the tears of laughter it is after midnight and my alarm is going off at 6:00 am.

It was more than worth it Padi!! Thanks for the jokes and the friendship mate, you are more valuable to TRF then you could possibly know!! I am proud to call you a friend.

This ones is for you.

For anyone who does not stop by that board at least once a day, you should, laughter is the best medicine after all.

I agree Daren. The trouble is with my ancient dial-up connection, I can't stay on too long and have to be selective in the threads I read. Sometimes I don't have the chance to visit the jokes section but when I do, it's always worth it.

Well Daren and all, I am deeply touched by your letter.Yes health wise, the last nearly 3 years have been bad for me.
But posting jokes kept my mind on the fun things, and keeping
in-touch with my Internet friends, kept me going when things were bad While on the other place my friends, Fernando Suhail and a few others really kept my chin up,when at one
time was ready to give up.But now have a lot of new friends on TRF,health wise I am a lot better now.But being on TRF
helps me forget about my health problems, and 2 years ago I
honestly thought that I would not be here to type this reply.
And yes Daren a little bit laughter is very good medicine, once again thanks to you all, proud to call all members on TRF my Friends.

Well said, Daren. It's about time our resident funny bone has been recognized for the wonderful laughter Peter brings to TRF, not to mention his witty posts in general.

Kudos to you, Padi. May you live long and prosper.

I have to agree with everyone. Every time I read his jokes I have to wipe the tears away from my eyes.

Here's to you Peter
