Always wanted to be in this position....

Tomorrow I have my performance appraisal with my boss and the discussion about my performance plan for next year. My plan is to quit in January and move to UK. Like I give a Shite about my performance appraisal

Gotta love it

When I had mine my boss asked what were my aspirations. I said It was to retire with a good pension, so how about a pay rise. He looked a bit shocked but at 58 years old I think I've gone as far as I can or want. I don't need any more stress.

I had my performance appraisal earlier this year. I looked in the mirror and said "Self, I think it's time to start slowing down."

Self said "Why do you want to do that?

I said "Because I've been at this business for amost 40 years and it's time to start thinking about a change."

So Self said, "Well, if that's what you want to do, then go for it."

It's good to be your own boss.

My wife used to crimp pasties at Ginsters when she was a teen. I think I could just about survive on pasties alone!

You have to call them oggies in Cornwall. They have their own ancient language you might have to learn.
