This is probably the best thing I've ever read on any watch related forum. I lost my dad when I was young and can relate to your story. The background and pictures really brought everything together and I hope, one day, my grandchildren will receive my watches and happily reflect on their father and grandfather.

Appreciated. It's nice to have something that ties together the generations. Whenever I wear my dads watch I make sure my daughter sees it and I point out it's importance to me and that one day I want it to be hers. Hopefully it's sinking in.

Wow what a cool story, I'm pretty sure I have read/commented on it before!

I have inherited my dads Rolex which is "only" a Datejust and has nowhere as cool story as the one you have got. I hope in the future that my Tudor GMT has a cool a story to tell!
