Here is my recently acquired Zephyr from 60's. It is PG/SS model with 34mm diameter and come with 19mm PG/SS rivet bracelet.

Just love the PG diamond edge bezel.

Wrist shot. Not small at all for me though.

They did (at least in Jubilee bracelets; I assume also for riveted ones). Perhaps the original ones were lost or misplaced over the years and substituted by steel ones.

I knew that Zephyr was in Greek mythology one of the winds; turns out it's the west wind.

Still doesn't quite explain that name with this watch, other than a marketing gimmick, akin to naming a car model. Maybe it was thought to be streamlined in style with the minimalist dial?

The bezel is like a compass rose, that may explain it.
