Lume is interesting. The lume on my YachtMaster is the brightest of any watch I have. It's not the longest lasting, but for it's intended purpose (shine a flashlight on it for a second and read the time) - it's the best. The lume on my orange monster is not as bright, but it stays readable for a much longer period than that on the Rolex. I agree about the Monster being a fine timepiece. It's a superb watch. The band is absolutely excellent.

Great to read this.... I just took mine off! I wore it to my sons Birthday party 12 - 12 year olds at a video game joint. Figuered I needed to wear the MONSTER. I also have one in Orange... and Yellow...

I used Credit card points (I think Amex) a while back and got them all for essentially no charge....

Just ordered one, having already tried on an Orange Monster. Love the design, but was not too fond of the orange dial, but the black will work for me. $179 from Amazon...how can you go wrong.

My BM's the best 'beater' I've ever had & (although I'm not supposed to know it yet) my kids've bought me an OM for Christmas to be my 'Summer Beater' too!
