Please have a look. Thinking of buying.

Here's an interesting white gold 6627 with a white gold riveted bracelet. It only has 12 links though... I can't imagine how difficult it's going to be finding another wg riveted link.

Your thoughts, please.

I don't know anything about these, but it looks nice. 30mm case is pretty small. Surely 12 links is enough?

I'm not sure about easily finding the riveted links. Can you call a RSC and see about that? Looks like a nice one.

Really nice.

Don't think too long.

A lot of his cool and rare pieces auctions are ended early.

I'm sorry for asking, but for me it's the first time i see a rolex plate where the "9" is placed in the "wrong" direction ?!
Is this a special edition or did i just missed out on a complete line...?

Is the dial a correct one ?

Numbers mixed with batons ?

Thanks

I would have reservations about the dial being original

I was going to say the same exact thing. That's a red flag to me. Also, I have not seen a white gold, brushed gold, link bracelet like this. It looks just like stainless steel. The bezel looks white gold but the rest looks like a nice brushed stainless steel or possibly nickel but it does not look like white gold but that's my opinion. Even if the clasp says 14K it could be just the clasp, not the entire bracelet if someone "put this together"

I love the face. I want a black dial watch but that funky 9 does not look right and I can't believe that Rolex would do that. I'll have to go look through my 4 books and see if I can find anything like that.

Strange.

OK. I just read the listing. It says the entire watch (case and bracelet) are 18k gold. That's a good 30 to 40g of gold which is worth just about $1500 in gold alone. It could weigh more or less. So, if it is all gold (even though the links are hollow) it still have a lot of weight in gold value. However, even if the dial has been redone I could not live with that misplaced 9. I'm sure whoever refinished it just put it that way unintentionally. I know that when you have to refinish a dial everything comes off and then goes back on so whoever did it just put it back on like that which is weird.

I'm up in the air about purchasing this. It's a good starting bid of $2,000 but if you want it to flip it or as an investment I'm not sure you will recover much more than if you get it for the opening bid of $2,000. If you have always wanted a fully white gold and will keep it and wear it then get it and fix the numbers and I doubt you will need a link and if you did, I doubt you could even find one. That would really be hard but you could try to find a larger clasp and that might buy you a few mm if that's what you would need.

I'm not questioning the seller. I'm just saying that this is a bit funky to me.

Now I question I have . . does the rivetted bracelet exists in WG . . ?

nice watch in my opinion, yes i have personally seen a rare rivetted white gold braclet, its worth a bid in my opinion, those dials are not that hard to source. A nice addition to any collection as it's pretty rare model.

I'll be passing on this one so if anyone else is interested, be my guest. Cool watch, just not that crazy about it and Christmas bills are starting to come in.

Andrew is the BEST seller of vintage Rolexes. He discloses everything, and stands behind what he sells 100%.

White gold mid size with a white gold riveted band is close to impossible to find, and someone got a great deal.

A dial can be replaced at any time for very little money.
