A good used 911 is the best secret in automobiledom.
Buy it, drive it, sell it what you paid for it (has to be an interesting model ).
My first 911 was a used 74, drove it 100K miles and sold it for more than I paid for it. Today its worth double.
My current 911 is a 996 GT2. Bought at 85K worth about 110 now.

Not super familiar with this particular 4S but if the informed said it was a good buy then it certainly is.

I know 997 stick turbos are another great example of a "Free" Porsche.

There is just something about a woman that drives a 911. Especially a manual.
Hubby is a lucky one.

Thank you all again!!

We made it to the race track :D Just to spectate our motorcycle friends, but as we crossed the gate, i told the little car:
"This.. this is gonna be your new home, away from home." and the little car said "YIPPPPEEEEEEE"

I haven't had time to call the dealership. They've coated the whole car with something. Gotta check with what. Thank you for the tip!

I really wanted that CPO 4S, but the dealer wasn't motivated to sell. :(

Congratulations on your new 4S and manual transmission only way to go imo. Mine is a 2009 in cream white. Really should drive it more and currently has only 10,800 mile on odometer. Enjoy!

Thank you guys and gals who suggested the rennlist.
If you plan on keeping the car, think about looking into an Anti Laser Priority (ALP) built in radar detector/laser diffuser (if not illegal in your state). Not cheap but fairly sophisticated system with regular programmable firmware updates. If your car has the smoking package (lighter with lid), the control unit fits right in there and you can have the warning light installed in the bottom of the dash above the tach. That's what I did with my Targa. I added the loudspeaker and the alerts are also spoken.
The last I checked, it was still outperforming the (more expensive) 360 Max CI.
Yes, Rennlist is TRF for Porsches. Not as good as it was a few years ago but still probably the best site overall. And don't forget PCA - most chapters are quite active and the Panorama mag is worth the dues IMO.

Thank you for the info.

I found on rennlist instructions how to install it with the mirror holder and tapping into the dome lights for power. It took me less than half an hour to install and it looks clean.
Your suggestion is worlds better. It was offered on my BMW. IF I decide to keep this one forever, I'll upgrade for sure. Thank you again!

Saw your post about the dealership coating the car, likely is was a ‘simoniz’ style product. Not even close to real ceramic coatings true detailers do these days. But they are supposed to replace anything they can’t fix (the dealer). If you join PCA or even do Facebook and find your local chapter, they can offer some good advice, black is a bear to keep beautiful, but it looks amazing when it is polished.

Your 911 will always have a nice behind

I saw a regular 911 the other day in the financial district....and I love it. I couldn't stop staring at it as it rode by.. 911 just becomes more beautiful as it ages...just like Rolex.

Yes, and each generation is sexy in its own way. I think they are timeless.

Thank you! I believe so too. All but one of my cars were manual in the last 25 years, so it's natural to me and not a hassle.
And in a car like this, so much more engaging.
I still understand PDK is more efficient, but no plans on racing it :)
