My wife fills one suitcase and then stuffs so much crap into her carryon duffel that it wint even zipped closed. Then she watches as I have everything spill out of the top as I try and cram it into the overhead bin for her. Yet she still thinks she packs light.

Talking about Tumi. I'm pretty happy with this backpack for one-two nights

If you’re not using both sides of your underwear you’re wrong. Four day trip=two pair underwear, two pairs of socks. Anything more is excessive. When I travel I wear cargo pants. My clothes for the week in one pocket and my toiletries in the other.

Honestly, I saw a guy touring Hawaii with a small canvas duffle with only one shirt and presumably a toothbrush in it. He was a little stinky, but damn, never saw someone travel to lightly.
The past few years I've gotten to travel about the USA several times a year on pleasure. After getting frozen out of my gear box, I learned the value of having one light essentials bag close at hand. A little bigger than yours, maybe half the size of an under-seat carry-on, which would last for three days if need be. |

That’s what I do! My wife won’t stop making fun of me for packing an HEB bag with some clothes when we went on a trip.

Ladies thought: it’s all about options
Otherwise: you seriously need to upgrade your overnight bag, a Tumi or Filson would be nice, recently I’m on a GoRuck bender... |

I have seen a trend here over the past few years: women carrying two purses instead of one.
When I asked a work colleague why she needed two handbags she opens one and pulls out a hair dryer and tells me these take up a lot of space.. A hair dryer??

If there is space and we have bags, my wife will find a way to use it all. Then complain we need more.
I had a small sedan and we would visit my parents for Christmas. That car was packed to the brim. One Christmas the died and I rented a midsize suv. Thought it would way more space than we needed. My wife even complained that I had wasted money on renting a suv and it was too big for our little trip. We packed it to the rafters and were short on space. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
