Icon20 My New Sub $350 Customised Watch

Hi Guys!

Just posted up a review of my latest watch. This one is a fun beater. Customised with my name on the faux patina dial. Let me know what you guys think...

There's a separate sub-forum for watch reviews, but I'm guessing you already know that.

Given what it is lol I don’t feel you can dismiss a watch simply because bad it doesn’t fit a particular type or range. I’ve always had quartz G Shocks next to my Rolex or AP in my watch collection.

Thanks. Yeah not bad for the price. Particularly the customisation.

Undone has sent many of these watches to YouTube channels with their name on the dial !

The hands are driven mechanically by a cheap quartz movement, in a manner as to give the affect of a traditional mechanical watch. The most disappointing part is that (SUPPOSEDLY) Micheal Young, known as the “Rolex bracelet magician” is part owner !

IMO, just giving the watch air time is detrimental to our hobby.

I think that’s unfair. I and I know many others wouldn’t have got into watches had it not been for the cheaper watch brands. Quartz mechanical or otherwise. And I think it can be beneficial to play around with different tier watches just to appreciate what we have.

I agree with you emkwan! Although I don’t personally like undone watches, particularly because of the movements, they are targeting a certain market and probably doing well. There are watch lovers of every type on this forum. Those who have the means to call a nautilus their beater watch and those who hold their quartz watches in the same regard as their doppel chronographs and multicomplicated time pieces. Keep up the blog and the YouTube, somebody is always going to need an opinion on a new piece

Well, if Michael offers a true mechanical in that price range, I may be interested.

Heck, make it a manual wind! Use a 7750 and ditch the winding bridge, fit it to a slimmer case. Done.

I don't think that can be (un)done for $350. It would use a Chinese 7750 which don't have the most stellar track record of reliability...

Your original post said “Let me know what you guys think .......”

Define “unfair” in said context.
