Who remembers this guy?

JJ was quite a character. He had a two-tone Yacht-Master and he posted about 10 new pictures of it EVERY DAY to Watch Talk Forums where I was a moderator back in the early 2000's. He swore eternal love for the TT YM and he said he'd never, ever part with it.

Of course he did... a few months later.

We always made fun of the guy (in a friendly manner) and he was always playing along.

I think it might have been JJ who invented the word "Bluesy" in the first place. Haha.

I had a long break from the watch community and when I came back I found out that he passed away. That made me sad.

This is my tribute to JJ. Enjoy your Bluesy wherever you are my friend.

JJ and Mark (Grumpy Badger) are belly up at the bar enjoying a pint and smiling down on all of us. Rest easy gentlemen.

It's so sad to lose members of our online community. JJ is really missed and so is Mark. They'll never be forgotten and inspire me to make the most of every moment and not to sweat the small stuff.

Came here early enough to be here when he was still around. Miss those days when him and Jocke got into it.

He is missed but not forgotten.

If this place where just about watches or material things, I would have left long ago.

I've seen many references to him, but don't really know who he was. Sounds like a fun and good guy.

I'm pretty sure I posted it here before. So similar to the "rainbow bridge" for beloved furry family members, there's a Rolex Bridge to be reunited with family and friends "in wrist". JJ and Mark await there, enjoying endless Rolexes and beer taps in the meanwhile......

JJ was, without a doubt, one of a kind. So many laughs, so many stories, so may unique posts...to me, I still laugh remembering him taking his watches to the butcher to use their scale and weigh them!

Iconic, JJ. Just iconic.

Miss you, your love for Bluessy and hate for Rado. Truly, one of a kind.
