So which one will get discontinued? The Hesalite 1861 or the sapphire 1863?

This bracelet won't fit the Speedy Pro because of lug spacing. Speedy Pro has 20mm lugs while the EW321 has 19 mm lugs.

Very much disappointing in real-life pics... Omega should have tried better. So repetitive and so boring. A rival for Daytona, meh

So no more Hesalite Moonwatch or they’re upgrading the movement ?
Sorry, trying to understand as I read all sort of things about both getting discontinued, The sapphire only and both getting discontinued Thanks!

The 1861 is discontinued. 3861 is the norm moving forward now with Moonwatches with some other aesthetic changes.

Great to see a case diameter of ~40 mm and the movement case-back display is beautiful, BUT...
Those ugly lugs kill it for me. Far too long, skinny, and angular. UGH. Pass!! If only they kept the short, twisted lyre-style lugs which work so well on prior incarnations of the Speedmaster (and various Seamaster models). This is one of the best design cues that Omega has ever created and makes it possible to wear larger watches comfortably on smaller wrists. It also contributes to the versatility of after-market straps because they "look right" as the lugs dont stand out so much right next to the straps. That, and the awful bracelet. Why wouldn't they include their better clasp with the microadjust system??? Incidentally, ugly lugs is exactly why I also would never consider a 6-digit Sub. The maxi case is hideous. |

I was in my AD last week and they confirmed that the 1861 and 1863 are being discontinued. According to them, Omega is limiting the number they can buy right now so they don't stock up.

You can fit the apollo 11 50th bracelet on a standard moonwatch if you want the same look as the new ed white. Just use a slightly thinner spring bar.

is it weird that so far Robert Jan Broer of Fratello Watches is the only one that has the new 321 steel watch (no box)...was it an early promo thing?

watching the video on fratello i found RJB comments regarding the absence of the halo effect of the sapphire crystal on the new 321 very interesting... looking forward to seeing this in person.

My favorite are actually the AP boxes. They are small and very nicely made. Fit really nice in a drawer.

Id agree with better boxes for cheaper models. Id much prefer a nice (small) wooden box, but not a dealbreaker for me either way

I love it. Especially the case and bracelet. But the price, damn.
