I just received this one today. With the soaring prices on 6 digit SS models, I took advantage and unloaded one to fund this 5 digit WG DD. My first Rolex was a 16200 with roman markers in 2005. I always said that my goal was to one day have a DD. The newer 6 digit models are nice, but with me "growing up" on the 5 digit models, they're always what I think of when I think "Rolex". Very happy with this new acquisition.

It’s an original Tudor 7017/0 Dial that somewhere along its journey lost its blue color to expose the brass plate in an interesting fashion whilst retaining perfectly the delicate white printing. Fun piece indeed.

The watch my wife bought me for my 50th birthday...

And the watch that I exchanged it for the next day...this one sang to me and the Rose Gold was a little more subtle (if you can say that about a DD ;-)
