Any future owners of the SLA037 / SLA039 and/or SLA041 are more than welcome to stop by and drop a pic or three

Having said that, they are a different "grouping" and not a part of the initial three (imo). The whole story reminds me of Bonati (of Officine Panerai) saying something like...

"...no more Bronzos *cough* planned *cough*"

Yes, well... I count FOUR so far... Or maybe what he really said was... "No, more Bronzos!"
Not that Seiko suggested anything like that but I assumed the "trio" would be it 'till 2025's next diver reference "tribute" (to 1975's 6159-7010 / 6159-022 Grandfather Tuna).

No matter... the more, the welcome ...as long as they are varied enough. The SLA037 will thrill those that have a soft spot for Hi-beat movements (and the $$$ to cope with the "upgraded" price tag... ). All three will elate blue-dial lovers. I have to agree with a few out there that wondered why Seiko didn't consider a blue bezel insert to match... In any event, I am more than happy with my trio and the only addition I may consider is the SPB149 if I really feel a need to scratch that blue-dial itch...

So for the sake of this one post, I'll keep it color-neutral...

Very well said!

I can't afford the new high-end models. Too much money asked for something that is too far from the original models. Good thing I already have 2 of the original SLAs

I will buy the SPB149 because, well, I don't have a blue dial diver and a very good "re-interpretation" of the 62MAS. Without being too close to the 2017 models. Seiko nailed it with this new family!

I’m very curious about this as well. I’d love to put it on a bracelet

Well that's not very satisfactory, makes a great looking pure bred watch look like a mongrel

I've sent uncle seiko a message, will let you know if they're interested and how many people will need to express interest for them to consider making it happen
