New Sub Board For Watch Investing

Do you feel there should be a sub board for watch investment / value?

Answer is yes and no. Yes it will be beneficial but it will also be manipulative as every watch is different and the actual watch could be better or worse than on pictures.

If we have a sub board for investment value, then we may also want sub boards for the following topics:

Wait lists
Anything about AD’s
Incoming
Outgoing
Complaints of any kind
Technical issues only
What watch should I buy
What watch should I sell
Do you like my watch
Grey dealer purchases
Selling to Grey dealers
Colors which do you like
What are you wearing today
Why I dislike a watch
Why I like a watch
How many watches should I collect
Should I wear my watch here, or there
Insurance for watches
Cleaning of watches
Trading watches
Grail watches
Is it safe to wear my watch to another place/country
etc.
etc.
etc

I’m thinking the existing “Talking Investments” thread in Open Discussion section fits the need nicely.

I only agree with 'Complaints of any kind'. It will be very very beneficial for buyers, and for us too as we are also buyers at the end of the day.

I'll take your "investment" board, and raise you an "is it safe" board.

My preference would be no investment posts whatsoever, to try to stem the mania. But when fashions change and prices normalise, it will be rather amusing to see a bunch of people holding watches they don’t really like!

You could be right. Perhaps we should start overly mocking OPs of those posts in a humorous way. Right Don

Let's start threads, and group together, pushing DJ28s as the best for investing. ;)

Have to agree on that one and a 100% much better option.

Wouldn’t it be “insider trading”?

I’m seeing only trouble ahead with any valuation topics in this forum!

Oh, I’m the funny guy, remember? My close friends call me bullet head!

I agree with a separate board for these questions

Or, just skip them.

Some are hilariously delusional and fun to watch. I don't recommend a regular diet of them, however.
