Phishing Scam on Rolex Forums - Careful

Hey all,

I wanted to alert anyone about a phishing scam going on at the moment in the forums. I was contacted by "Jim Soloway", who confirms his account was hacked, letting me know that they were interested in a watch I was selling and to contact them at their email for faster response: mackeldds@gmail.com

I later received a reply from this email who's name shows up as "Paul Paul"with the following message:

Thanks for your response.
I contacted two users for TRF.
Pls check if this is your advert below, before we proceed with payment and shipping.

http:rolexforums/Rolex%20Forums.htm

Thanks

That link is a fake phish site made to look like the Rolex Forum's login in page. If you type your username and password the scumbag will have your login in credentials.

Please watch out for this type of scam as he may well have obtained different usernames through this scam already. Do not enter login credentials from links, for any account for that matter.

Stay Safe

I think the real Jim Soloway posted this yesterday.

It appears the mods handled it.

We have been warning the membership of this scam for years, but still many fall for it unfortunately.....

You'd think in this day an age that internet users would be a little more careful, especially regarding exposure to fake links and logins!
