Sounds good. Anything after that date would probably have conflicts with Passover and Easter.

More than happy to host a Chicago GTG courtesy of your Chicago-based watch blog: http://www.watchcollectinglifestyle.com

We can do it before Baselworld or after I return from there.

Very interested in meeting up as well. Random question (and sorry to get slightly off topic) - is there a watchmaker you guys would recommend in the Chicagoland are to polish a watch bracelet?

Kent at Fine Swiss Watch Repair crossed my mind as a candidate, and so did the on-site Rolex certified watchmaker at Oakbrook.

Hi, good question! I assume you mean CD Peacock at Oak Brook Mall? I do remember receiving mailers from them advertising watch polishing services. But recently, one of my relatives took a vintage gold datejust there for polishing and they refused to do it without a full service (which they estimated at $1,500)? So I'm not sure what their policy is these days.

Kent always does good work, so you can't go wrong with him either.

Good luck!

Had one of my watches polished at CD Peacock in Oak Brook. The watch had a service at the same time and they did mention they like to do the polishing during service because they can easily work on the case and bezel. Not sure if they would have refused the polish if I hadn't been doing the service. I will say they were very professional and helpful, especially the sales associate named Art.

Hi, absolutely, Quartino is a great spot for a GTG. They can definitely accommodate us and will give us a great deal.

Hi, there are so many good hotels in the downtown and River North area. I would definitely check a site like Kayak for the best options and price.

Hi! I would love to as I really think it's the perfect spot for us. Our friend Submarino at WCL was mentioning sponsoring this GTG, so I hope he agrees.
